Which contract types are available?
There are three types of energy contracts for businesses: fixed contracts, dynamic contracts, and “click” contracts.
What is a fixed contract?
With a fixed contract, the price per MWh is determined at the moment you sign the contract, so you know exactly what you will pay for the entire duration.
What is a dynamic contract?
In a dynamic contract, the price evolves at fixed intervals, typically on a quarterly basis. The price follows movements on the energy market, meaning the rate adjusts with market developments during the contract term, without a fixed price set in advance.
What is a “click” contract?
A “click” contract combines the characteristics of a dynamic contract with the added possibility to spread risks. During the contract term, you can fix parts of your consumption in MWh blocks at moments you choose. This way, you retain flexibility and can respond to market opportunities as they arise.
What does an energy broker do exactly?
An energy broker compares the current pricing products on the market across recognized energy suppliers. They analyse your consumption and expectations, define a strategy, and identify the most suitable pricing products.
Is Elga linked to a single energy supplier?
No. Elga works with multiple recognized suppliers. We don’t start from one party, but from your consumption profile and energy DNA. From there, we determine which suppliers are relevant for your situation.
How is Elga compensated?
Elga receives a fee from the energy supplier when a contract is concluded through our mediation.
Why does the offer differ for each business?
No two businesses operate in the same way.
Your energy profile, activities and operational needs determine which solutions best match your situation. As a result, the selection of suppliers is usually smaller, but far more relevant.
What do we mean by “energy DNA” or “consumption DNA”?

You will receive an analysis once your data is complete and all relevant suppliers have been contacted.

What if I have multiple locations?
No problem. We create one overarching analysis and optimise all locations together or separately, depending on what best fits your profile.
